It's so crazy how small this world is. I attended Howard University with Arlene and we had several classes together. I also majored in Information Systems. The other young lady I met in Los Angeles through a friend who was Lonye's Wife's cousin. We all went out one night to a comedy show. Both situations were completely unrelated. Fast forward, I ran across a photo on Arlene's Facebook page and then I saw Lonye. I was like wow she looks familiar. I then realized that she was the same young lady that I met in California. Small world!

Why do you deserve a an advantage just because you are a woman? Not many people know who owns a business unless they specifically advertise it unless they are not a straight white male, so why do you deserve a break? I'm not trying to be arrogant but why do deserve this advantage?

A lot of respect for them and how they navigated through the gov con space. However, it still says a lot how far women and especially Black women have to go being that they still had to bring a man to the table to get a little bit of respect and acknowledgment.

I don't think the self certify option is available so this content is a bit out of date

Once you are certified, if the area where your office is located in becomes a non-hubzone area does your certificate stay valid for the term of the lease for the rented space or longer?
